Carpe Diem

The expansive sun deck is a leisure haven, with large sunpads and sofas surrounding the massive 12-person jacuzzi with beautiful mosaic inlay and teak deck and undercover bar with seating. The décor here is exquisite: featuring crocodile leathers with grey velvets and bold flashes of orchid purple to complement neutrals.

There are two generously-sized aft decks with tables and seating for dining, entertaining and socialising, and a pleasant foredeck lounge area for sunset cocktails or curling up with a book while at anchor.

Built for charter, CARPE DIEM has a dumbwaiter and a dedicated interior stairway between decks, allowing the crew discrete access.

INTERIORS

CARPE DIEM’S styling was the work of esteemed designer Carol Williamson, who has drawn on European Art Deco themes and a palette of metallics, mirrors, charcoal accents, marble, onyx, leather, macassar wood and ebonised cherry in furnishings to create fascinating contemporary interiors. The owner’s wonderful collection of vintage black and white photos completes the glamorous ambience.

A grand, full-beam foyer forward of the dining saloon doubles as a gallery for a images of Marilyn Monroe by photographer Milton Greene. The upper saloon also makes optimal use of the extensive 10.2m beam, providing charter guests with a superb space for relaxing in comfort and enjoying amazing water views.

CARPE DIEM is well set-up for guests’ entertainment and communications with comprehensive audio-visual systems, satellite television, Apple TV, Xbox 360, and wi-fi.

ACCOMMODATION

Belowdecks, CARPE DIEM provides four large, king-size cabins, each with marble ensuite. A fifth cabin can serve as a twin with a Pullman berth or can be arranged as a sitting area when joined with the cabin opposite to become a suite.

The sumptuous master stateroom is located on the main deck and boasts a walk-in robe, lounge area, private office, retractable TV, and completely separate his n hers ensuites featuring crystal onyx in his and white Calcutta marble in hers. The décor throughout is thoroughly opulent, and guests will marvel at the 5-star finishes and masterful blend of materials that make CARPE DIEM unique.

WATERTOYS & TENDERS

CARPE DIEM is an approved RYA water sports centre. The extended swim platform provides easy access to the water.

CARPE DIEM’S impressive arsenal of tenders and toys comprises a 32ft (9.75m) Boston Whaler, 23ft (7m) Novurania Chase boat, 19ft (5.79m) Zodiac Proluxe tender, two 3-person SeaDoo GTX, a 2-person SeaDoo Spark and 3-person SeaDoo Spark, two Seabobs, Jet Surf ski, waterskis and wakeboard, Flyboard (propelled by Waverunner) and snorkelling gear.

There is also a complete beach party set-up for celebrating special occasions onshore, or simply watching the sunset with a cocktail or two on the sand.

For fitness and well-being during your charter, the range of gym equipment includes compressor exercise equipment, elliptical machine, fold-up treadmill, spin bike, pulley system, weight bench, free-weights and yoga mats.
