As warm and wonderful as its name suggests, TUSCAN SUN is a brilliant example of an Italian designed and built superyacht, ideally configured for a family or group charter around the magnificent Croatian coastline and the islands of the Med.
Built by Fipa Italiana Yachts to a Roberto del Re design, TUSCAN SUN is a Maiora 32 model and was launched in 2008. She enjoyed an extensive refit in 2016, enhancing her features inside and out. At 33m (107ft) she is speedy as well as sultry, attaining a maximum speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots.
On deck, guests can enjoy the space and serenity of several leisure areas, including a large aft dining and lounge area, private foredeck with sunpads, seating and retractable bimini, and massive flybridge with plenty of room for both undercover and alfresco entertaining. The flybridge is where guests will spend much of their time, for optimal views, barbeque and bar, with a hardtop section for complete protection in all conditions.
INTERIOR
Inside, TUSCAN SUN features a serene palette of cream, white and beige, with effective bursts of colour in the carpets and décor. Separated from the aft deck by glass sliding doors, the attractively decorated saloon boasts new furnishings, including a formal dining table for eights, and pleasant lounge area with flat screen TV, two sofas and two custom armchairs.
Open and airy, with lovely elliptical windows, the saloon has an entertainment system with a 60-inch plasma TV and a custom Bose Lifestyle stereo surround sound system.
There is a large professional galley on board TUSCAN SUN, catering to guests' wishes.
ACCOMMODATION
Luxury charter yacht TUSCAN SUN accommodates up to 10 guests in five large staterooms: a full-beam Master suite with a double bed, walk in robe, desk and ensuite, VIP cabin with a large centered double bed and ensuite, another double bed cabin with ensuite and two twin bed cabins. All suites have LCD TVs and are air-conditioned, with individual cabin controls.
WATERSPORTS
The large swim platform on board TUSCAN SUN provides guests with easy access to the water and the garage which stores the tender and toys. There is a 5m ZAR 43 tender with 90HP Evinrude outboard engine for day trips and towing inflatables and wakeboards. Along with two SeaDoo RXP 155, there is a Seabob F5, waterskis, Paddle board, snorkeling and fishing gear, plus variable inflatables.
