Representing the new generation of traditional Croatian sailing gulets, retaining all the heritage yet crafted with high-tech materials and luxuries, RARA AVIS – meaning ‘rare bird’ – is a brand new 108ft (33m) motor sailing yacht available for charter along the Dalmatian coastline and islands.
Constructed by an exceptionally dedicated and talented owner, Marijo Ercegović, whose family has been connected with boat building and nautical tourism for 70 years, RARA AVIS is the jewel in the crown of the charter fleet in the region.

The aft deck is the ideal place for dining alfresco, with large table and seating for 12, as well as sunpads and dual staircase to the swim platform and RARA AVIS’ array of watertoys. There is also a brilliant passerelle for direct access to the vessel.
The foredeck has a comfortable seating area for cocktails at sunset or sunbathing in peace and privacy. Above, the incredible sundeck will be a popular spot with all charter guests. Along with a large jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, there are two seating areas with tables, an outdoor shower and shaded section beneath the expansive sails for protecting during the heat of the day.
INTERIORS
The décor onboard RARA AVIS is soothing and contemporary, using a tranquil palette of neutrals and quality finishes throughout. With air-conditioning throughout, RARA AVIS has a spacious main saloon with separate lounge and dining areas, bar and flatscreen TVs, DVD, USB and wi-fi.
ACCOMMODATION
Below decks, the accommodation consists of six suites, including a large master cabin, VIP cabin, two double cabins and two twin cabins with twin beds convertible to a double bed. Light and airy, each cabin has an ensuite, plenty of storage and 5-star appointments such as beautiful bed linens, towels, hair dryer and toiletries.
WATERTOYS & TENDERS
Equipped with a new tender and all the watertoys guests require for a fun and family-friendly charter, RARA AVIS comes complete with waterskis, wakeboard, two paddleboards, canoe, fishing gear, snorkelling equipment, inflatables and a host of board games.
The crew of six onboard RARA AVIS are eager to share their passion and pride in the cruising grounds of the Mediterranean. The onboard Chef is known for devising exceptional menus using the freshest local produce.
