By April 2024, SURI will have sailed to the enchanting Azores. In the following months, you will have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, Svalbard, and Iceland while based in the charming city of Bergen.

But the adventure doesn't end there as from November 2024 to April 2025 SURI she embarks on another Caribbean and Bahamas sojourn. Finally, 2025 brings the promise of exploration in Eastern Mexico, Cozumel, Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, and the San Blas Islands, with the potential for an Amazon cruise. You'll remain spellbound by the allure of these extraordinary destinations, just as you'll be by all that is on offer aboard SURI during your yacht charter.

SURi is a magnificent 63 metre expedition yacht built by Halter Marine and designed by Kirilloff & Associates (refit) and Stan Antrim of YES (refit). It was originally launched in 1978 and converted in 2007. The steel hull and superstructure with the added benefit of extended range, made possible through a vast amount of fuel reserve onboard, makes SuRi the perfect choice for venturing into exotic and demanding areas of the globe. She had a major refit in 2012 which included an 11m mid-body extension. Her last major refit was in 20105 / 2016 where the owner's cabin was extended. 

There is plenty to do onboard, in the water, and also on land with a diverse range of toys and features including a Jacuzzi, helicopter, sea plane, speedboat, dune buggy and hovercraft.  Excitement, adventure and luxurious comfort all rolled into one amazing yacht: experience the world like no one else.

2012 Refit Enhancements:
Sun Deck: The longer and expanded sun deck will offer more square footage, a larger sunning and “in shade” areas and will continue to have the high level of finish currently present on SuRi. Bridge and Heli Deck: This deck has received the full length of the mid body of 36 feet.

All of the added length happen aft of the existing lounge and a spacious fully glass enclosed guest lounge has been added to the already comfortable and elegant main lounge. The new guest lounge can either be closed off in glass, fully climate controlled and become a part of the existing expansive lounge or, by closing the existing lounge aft doors, all of the glass panels can be opened to allow for the breeze to cool guests as they enjoy the luxury of the new lounge amenities.

Mezzanine Guest Cabins: Two additional, full beam guest cabins will be installed on the mezzanine level outfitted similar to the existing cabins which are also being expanded and reconfigured. These four guest cabins allow an unobstructed, private view from the yacht.

Main Deck: This deck also received the full added length of 36 feet in the hangar allowing for the carriage of even more “toys” and tenders than SuRi currently carries.

Hold Deck: In way of where the 36 foot mid body there are two large rooms that offer guest a fully equipped area on the starboard side for exercise, yoga and for additional lounging and meeting area. This space can also be used as a children’s play. On the port side of the new hold guest area is a spacious, relaxing and comfortable media room equipped with the latest television and sound system. Also in this space are the “windows to the sea”. There are two large viewing windows open to the ocean bottom, lit by high intensity lights that will illuminate the ocean and attract sea life to the guests.
