Sailing Yacht MALTESE FALCON
THE MALTESE FALCON built by Perini Navi is among the most covetable yachts on earth, and at 88m (289ft), she is one of the largest privately owned sailing yachts, now available for charter during August in the Mediterranean.
Designed in collaboration between the Perini Navi Group, Dykstra Naval Architects and Ken Freivokh Design, the multi-award-winning sailing superyacht is breath-taking to behold and considered the pinnacle of luxury charter yachts. Those who have sailed on her are inducted into a special coterie of charter guests who fully appreciate her ground-breaking technology and jaw-dropping presence in any port or anchorage where she always commands centre stage.
Her most immediately impressive feature is her Falcon Rig. THE MALTESE FALCON has 15 square sails (five per mast), stored inside the mast; they can fully unfurl into tracks in just six minutes, and three carbon fibre masts, which are free-standing and able to rotate. Her Perini Navi Sail Control delivers unrivalled performance with unmatched safety and manoeuvrability.
This incredible super cruiser has a maximum speed of 18 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 14 knots making THE MALTESE FALCON the ultimate charter vessel, whether for hosting corporate events or to experience an exhilarating bluewater ocean passage with family and friends.
THE MALTESE FALCON can accommodate 12 guests in five lower deck staterooms and one upper deck cabin, complete with private cockpit. A VIP cabin with Queen-size berth occupies the upper deck, while the full beam master suite boasts a dressing room and private gym located on the lower deck. Four of the guest staterooms can convert into two enormous VIP suites, each with his and hers bathrooms.
Renowned for her exceptional, bespoke interiors, THE MALTESE FALCON offers sumptuous standards. In the atrium, the three decks are united by a circular stairway surrounding the main mast, spiralling from the top deck to the decks below and enhanced by natural light effect through transparent floors. Original artwork dons the timber-panelled walls and every detail, every item of décor was chosen for its aesthetic appeal.
The main deck is an immense open space which features a main saloon, spacious aft-cockpit, two separate studio areas and a formal dining room. There is also a protected sun deck and direct access to the wheelhouse, where cutting-edge technology controls the entire vessel.
For her fortunate charter guests, THE MALTESE FALCON will spoil for choice when it comes to facilities and fun! There is a fully equipped gym with Italian Technogym systems, Jacuzzi, large plasma TVs and wi-fi throughout the vessel, and for film buffs or corporate events, a movie projector makes good use of her forward sail for cinema under the stars.
THE MALTESE FALCON has on-water activities well and truly covered for active charter guests. There are two 32ft RIB tenders for day trips and island hopping, four laser sailing boats, a 14ft Castold jet tender for skiing and tow toys, six sets of dive gear and snorkelling gear, plus a custom-made slide that lands in a floating pool for hours of super-safe entertainment.
Led by Captain Robert Bell, who is an experienced PADI diver and has been with the yacht since its launch in 2005, the 17 crew onboard are exceptionally competent in their specialties, promising to make THE MALTESE FALCON experience a charter of a lifetime for guests.
