The four awards were for Naval Architecture – Displacement Motor Yacht, by Philippe Briand, Exterior Design & Styling Motor Yacht above 500 GT, by Vitruvius Yachts LTD, Environmental Protection Award by Vitruvius Yachts Ltd, and Interior Design - Motor Yacht above 500 GT, by Remi Tessier Design.
GRACE E is the third motor yacht of the Vitruvius series sold by Perini Navi Group.
Since launching in September 2014, GRACE E has received wide acclaim in the yachting world for her brilliant design, innovative technology and glorious interiors.
As well as her beauty, GRACE E is recognised for her efficiency. The Vitruvius-designed hull is designed to be robust and streamlined giving her a long range with minimal impact on the environment.
Compared to her predecessors, EXUMA and GALILEO G, GRACE E has a diesel-electric propulsion system that runs on two Azipods, electronically activated propellers mounted on a guidable support.
GRACE E Captain Eddie Cooney said this system means there is no propeller noise, a great advantage for her charter guests seeking the peace of the open ocean, even while underway.
"There is little evidence that the boat is underway unless you are looking out the windows and actually witnessing the changing landscape. We expect that this will be a very much appreciated asset to guests cruising aboard."
GRACE E has exterior spaces spread over five decks. The upper deck, or "Wellness Deck", is dedicated to personal fitness and health, with a gym, sauna and hydrotherapy equipment.
The coveted golden Neptune awards are the Oscars of the superyacht design professionals.
Grace E is designed by Vitruvius Yachts Ltd, London. The naval architecture is done by Philippe Briand, she was built at the Picchiotti shipyard, Perini Navi Group in La Spezia with interiors by Remi Tessier.
