From November 2015, MY LEGEND will cruise the fascinating waters of Antarctica and South America, from her base on the Falkland Islands – an environmentally unique archipelago in the southern Atlantic.
From May 2016, you can follow the path of the Vikings, and witness the majesty of the Northern Lights in Greenland and Norway, with coastlines that will take your breath away. Fjords, the Midnight Sun, quaint fishing villages, towns that have preserved theirArt Nouveau magnificence and the opportunity to get up close with a myriad of marine species – these are just some of the delights MY LEGEND will share with her first charter guests over the northern summer 2016.
MY LEGEND accommodates 26 charter guests in 13 staterooms, including Master suite, two VIP Suites, five double staterooms and five twin staterooms (two of them convertible to doubles), and has 19 crew.
This 77.4m (254ft) fully classified Class 1 ice-breaking ship by ICON Yachts and Verkerk Yachting Projects will soon emerge from a total refit from her previous life as a working vessel.
Along with a substantial technical upgrade, the stern of LEGEND has been extended by 3.6 metres. LEGEND comes complete with helipad, submarines and all the mod-cons to host her guests in sheer comfort together with world-class cuisine.
LEGEND will also be equipped with a swim platform and a swimming pool, and her submarine will be stored in a garage on the forward deck. She features a fully-equipped gym, Balinese spa and sauna, Jacuzzi and beauty salon, movie theatre and entertainment system, medical suite, swimming pool and all the water toys and gadgets her guests could desire, from paddle boards and jet-skis to snow scooters.
For the keen adventurer who wishes to see the most remote regions of the world in total luxury, LEGEND will be available for charters in South America, Antarctica, Greenland, the Norwegian Fjords and the Arctic Circle.
Scheduled for launch in summer 2015, MY LEGEND will make her first appearance for charter in South America from November 2015.
