St Vincent is the largest of the 32 islands constituting the Caribbean nation of Saint Vincent & The Grenadines. The island, like all of the Windward Islands, is a continuous breathtaking vista of verdant mountain peaks contrasting beautiful black-sand beaches of volcanic origin. Kingstown boasts a very colonial ambiance and the town’s tropical environs starred in Pirates of the Caribbean; Wallilabou Bay still features the original set.

WEATHER: Tropical climate moderated by trade winds. Hottest and most humid months between June and September when temperatures reach 30C (86F). Weather is more comfortable between December and May with soft breezes.

CULTURAL: The locals are very fun-loving and cheerful people and their island lifestyle is a blend of British and West Indian influences. All visitors feel very welcome and casual wear is widely acceptable. Bathing suits and revealing clothing should be confined to the beach. It is illegal to wear any camouflage clothing in the country.
