Highlights from the May 2018 Superyacht Show in Barcelona

The inaugural Superyacht Show presents some of the world's newest and in demand charter superyachts, combined with sponsors from the global luxury market and a unique quayside experience of receptions, parties and most importantly, inspections.

Here is our pick of the top selection of luxury charter yachts on display at the 2018 Superyacht Show.

OKTO

Futuristic and entirely fantastic, this exquisite 66m Italian-built superyacht is the first and only of her kind. Her six cabins accommodate 11 guests in sheer luxury, with17 crew on hand to make charter aboard OKTO memorable for a lifetime.

The special features on OKTO are too numerous to mention, but they include incredible space throughout, impeccable interiors with elements of Art Deco and comprising LED lighting, mirrors, coloured glass panels and striking monochrome palette with splashes of red and blue.

OKTO boasts a 6m swimming pool on the lower deck, plus jacuzzi on the sky lounge, spa and beauty salon, cinema room, elevator from lower deck to bridge deck, a balcony on the owner's master suite that lowers at the touch of a button, gym with floor to ceiling windows for ocean views while you work out, grey and black pinstriped decks and a full complement of tenders and toys for all ages and inclinations.

The owner's suite consists of a private lobby leading to a full-beam suite with double bathroom boasting sea views, steam bath and rainforest style shower. This leads to a vast dressing room with vanity make up area. The adjoining cabin can be used for children or an office.

In the main saloon, the dining area for 12 guests has fully retractable circular doors, extending the entertaining area to the exterior aft deck. This layout separates the saloon, creating a sense of space and comfort where you and your guests will enjoy relaxing.

The cinema room features Kaleidoscope, Apple TV and full streaming capability, as well as a 3000 watt Bower and Wilkins sound system, teamed with a 103-inch Panasonic plasma screen.

DOUBLE DOWN

The 65-metre luxury motor yacht DOUBLE DOWN is a classic, custom-built luxury charter yacht from Italian yard Codecasa, with beautifully renovated interiors by the acclaimed Evan K Marshall and 11 crew to ensure a brilliant charter experience.

Over five spacious decks DOUBLE DOWN offers up to 12 guests luxurious accommodation in eight suites plus the convenience of an elevator connecting all decks. The main deck faces a spacious veranda with two areas for relaxation and a piano room with wonderful Steinway grand piano which opens up to the saloon and the dining table able to seat up to 18 people.

There are three guest cabins on the main deck. The upper deck, with yet another dining table and a large saloon with a bar and a games table, also hosts the master suite with ensuite and interconnecting doors to a VIP stateroom. The wheelhouse of DOUBLE DOWN provides guests with a relaxing spa pool area with sofas, a cinema and a well-equipped gym, plus a sun deck for lounging all day.

DOUBLE DOWN has classic teak and timber interiors with touches of marble and elegant furnishings. There are four suites located on the lower deck, each one themed in a different style: Thai, Chinese, Egyptian and minimalist modern.

LATITUDE

This impressive 170ft (52m) Benetti charter superyacht comprises six double staterooms for her 12 fortunate guests, and large spaces and suites for a supremely comfortable onboard experience.

With her alluring Art Deco interiors, LATITUDE boasts several special features including an elevator, large sundeck with jacuzzi, balconies on the master stateroom and much more. LATITUDE has an outdoor cinema, karaoke system, DJ set and Kaleidescape Movie/Music server with over 1,000 films accessible independently from all cabins and social spaces, providing guests with unparalleled entertainment options.

For charter guests wishing to stay fit and active, LATITUDE has a golf set and gym equipment on board. TRIPLE SEVEN

An award-winning, tri-deck 223.10ft (68m) charter superyacht built by German yard, Nobiskrug, TRIPLE SEVEN is a magic combination of comfort, impressive space and a huge array of leisure activities.

TRIPLE SEVEN sleeps up to 10 guests in five suites, and abounds in stylish, contemporary design. Many of this superlative charter yacht's features were designed around the numeral 7, such as the seven bullet-proof forward-facing windows on the main deck whose unique shaping makes them appear almost as giant sevens while also allowing huge amounts of light into the owner's suite.

The master suite includes a separate office/library with a fold-out bed that allows it to turn into an extra cabin when needed. The suite also hosts a concealed security closet, and his and hers dressing areas e connected by an immense bath carved from Portuguese marble.

Sevens are also etched in the floating spiral staircase in the yacht's centre. The open plan main saloon boasts a large circular bar with a glass wall that drops down to allow service to both the saloon and the aft deck. Divided into six usage areas, this space encompasses the bar, a formal seating area, outdoor cinema, open sun-pad lounge, a dining area and a casual lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The sun deck has a retractable gazebo with tables for alfresco dining and a large circular sun pad that tops the coachroof and is convertible into a helipad. Then there's a large jacuzzi surrounded by more sun pads. The oversized beach club is equipped with a gym, lounge area and bar, and provides easy access to TRIPLE SEVEN'S generous arsenal of watertoys and tenders.

DEJA TOO

171ft (52m) DEJA TOO is an ultra-luxurious Amels superyacht, designed by the legendary Terence Disdale and described as having one of the best and most flexible layouts of charter yachts her size.

DEJA TOO has accommodation for 12 guests in six staterooms, including a massive, full-beam master suite, and four double staterooms with sliding screens that can create two full-beam VIP cabins. All cabins boast high-tech AV and ensuites.

The ideal family charter yacht, DEJA TOO can just as easily convert to the ultimate party ship, with her large jacuzzi, karaoke system, open-air cinema screens, barbeque and a sundeck that converts into a dancefloor.

DEJA TOO has a comprehensive selection of watersports equipment including a 7.2m Castoldi limo jet tender and 7.2m Castoldi watersports tender, Yamaha jetskis, Jetsurf, flyboard, SeaBobs, waterskis, windsurfers, wakeboards, kayaks and snorkeling gear.
