QUARANTA a superyacht power catamaran is the winner of multiple prestigious design awards, and is available for charter on the French Riviera
Delivered in 2013, MY QUARANTA is the flagship model of the Curvelle shipyard in Turkey. An award-winning catamaran superyacht, QUARANTA is 34.10m (111ft) and hailed as the largest Carbon Hybrid superyacht catamaran in the world.
In May 2014, QUARANTA was deemed among the best of the superyachts launched in 2013, taking out the Neptune Trophy for best power catamaran. The 20 judges also praised QUARANTA as having one of best charter layouts they have ever seen, offering versatility and supreme spaciousness.
QUARANTA has four decks and a massive beam of 9m. On the main deck, her accommodation features six double staterooms with European king-size beds, each with ensuite and huge picture windows to capture the passing panoramas. But her layout is extremely flexible and can be arranged from three luxurious suites to double and single bed accommodation for 12 charter guests, reconfigured by the crew in a matter of a few hours. Over 20 layout configurations are possible to suit any request.
The saloon, dining room, bridge and aft deck are on the deck above. The top deck offers a Jacuzzi, bar and additional dining area for twelve.
The yacht's interior has been designed by Alex Isaac with exterior styling by Mauro Giamboi and was built to comply with MCA and RINA standards.
Her two hulls give QUARANTA stability and an abundance of space and natural light on her upper decks.
On deck, her space rivals most +40m motor yachts. On the aft saloon deck, there is an alfresco lounge area, connecting directly to the main saloon dining area. Forward, there is even more room dedicated to dining, sunbathing or socialising.
On the upper deck, there is a dining space, lounge area and Jacuzzi pool – ideal for whiling away the days on charter, and enjoying the best views from the top.
Unique to QUARANTA is her transom lifting platform which can be lowered to bring guests closer to water level for dining, lounging or access to the sea. This clever platform can be 'transformed' into a "beach". The platform can lift the tender with guests in it from the water to the main deck level. The lifting platform, when slightly submerged can have a spa effect with bubbles and waterfalls.
The catamaran tender seats seven and can be launched from the main deck. Her compliment of water toys includes two Bladefish sea jets, two inflatable SUPS, wakeboard, kneeboard, water-skis, snorkelling gear and fishing equipment. For the young and young at heart, there are inflatables and other towable toys.
QUARANTA'S six crew, under the guidance of Captain Paul Fraser, are attentive and supremely professional, ensuring your luxury charter experience is second to none. The onboard Chef is Silvy Gimpel, who has vast experience in some of the top restaurants in Sydney and London, and whose prowess is to use her expertise to please the palate of charter guests.
