Showstoppers at the 2019 MYBA Charter Show

The 31st edition of this industry-only event will run 30 April to 3 May, gathering around 50 superlative charter vessels in the magnificent surrounds of Spain’s ancient and fascinating harbour city, Barcelona.

OneOcean Port Vell is a world-class superyacht marina, perfectly positioned in the heart of Barcelona. Originally built for the 1992 Olympic Games, the marina recently completed its transformation to a 148-berth luxury facility, creating the ultimate destination for yachts up to 190 metres. Every year, coinciding with the start of the Mediterranean charter season, the MYBA Charter Show provides the unparalleled opportunity for charter brokers to meet and mingle with Captains, crews and managers, step onboard the region’s finest charter yachts and inspect their amenities, gain a good understanding of the yachts’ specialties and crew skills.

As well as inspecting each and every one of the 50+ charter yachts on show, Luxury Charter Group will meet the Captains and crews and in many cases, join them onboard for lunch or dinner to really savour the gourmet specialties of their onboard Chef! 

The Chefs steal the spotlight from the yachts in the highly-anticipated Chefs’ Competition, where leading Chefs are given a challenge and a time limit to concoct dishes that will impress a panel of judges. Their fellow crew members will also compete among themselves to demonstrate their prowess in table display and onboard hospitality skills.

SPRING (ex-Jetsetter)

The flagship of Monaco custom superyacht specialist, Dynamiq, 127.95ft (39m) luxury charter yacht SPRING is a one-of-a-kind vessel that will delight her guests and is available for charter in the Mediterranean, the South of France, Amalfi coast and Sardinia.

Her unique design is the result of collaboration between naval architect and company founder, Dobroserdov Design and the renowned Bannenberg & Rowell for interiors.

The lower aft deck is the ideal spot for meals or pre-dinner aperitifs ahead of retreating inside for formal dining.

Guests will gravitate to the 20m long upper sundeck which is superbly fitted out with dining table, bar and 75-inch TV, plus the ability to be segmented into five separate zones for entertaining, intimate dining or relaxation. To soak up the sun, there is an array of sunpads, or a bimini shade can be activated, inviting guests to dine, recline or socialise with protection and privacy. Forward is the large jacuzzi which has the best views on the entire vessel!

SPRING accommodates up to eight guests in four impeccably decorated cabins, each with its own ensuite and integrated TVS.

The garage, with floating garage door giving easy access to the water and equipment, houses a 4.87m Castoldi JT16 tender, two Sea-Doo Spark jetskis, two Seabobs, a selection of inflatable water toys, fishing equipment, snorkelling gear, gym equipment and two electric scooters for exploring on shore.

BERCO VOYAGER

At 40m, BERCO VOYAGER is an impressive example of the iconic Sunseeker 131 series, featuring a spacious layout with state-of-the-art amenities and accommodation for up to 10 guests in absolute luxury, available for charter in the Mediterranean.

The ultimate chill-out zone, BERCO VOYAGER’s sundeck features an outdoor bar, barbecue, dining area and large jacuzzi with jaw-dropping sea views from every angle. BERCO VOYAGER’s cosy upper deck sky lounge features a lounge area with a wide-screen TV plus an elegant bar for evening cocktails.

The main deck lounge and dining area for 10 guests is a great spot for a leisurely lunch with friends and family. A large swim platform offers guests easy access to the water while the bow has oversized sun pads for luxurious lounging.

At the bow, there is a pleasant foredeck space with u-shaped seating and table for entertaining and enjoying the panoramas at anchor or while underway.

The main saloon on was designed for entertaining and comprises a magnificent formal lounge and dining area for up to 12 people. Along with the latest AV systems, BERCO VOYAGER is fitted with Sonos wireless sound system on all decks and Apple TV throughout the yacht.

DEJA TOO

171ft (52m) DEJA TOO is an ultra-luxurious Amels superyacht, designed by the legendary Terence Disdale and described as having one of the best and most flexible layouts of charter yachts her size.

DEJA TOO has accommodation for 12 guests in six staterooms, including a massive, full-beam master suite, and four double staterooms with sliding screens that can create two full-beam VIP cabins. All cabins boast high-tech AV and ensuites.

The ideal family charter yacht, DEJA TOO can just as easily convert to the ultimate party ship, with her large jacuzzi, karaoke system, open-air cinema screens, barbeque and a sundeck that converts into a dance floor.

An entertaining aft deck includes a dining area for 10 and inside, the saloon has a separate lounge and dining area – the perfect balance of modern luxury and cosy details, with a soothing palette of beige, cream and light timber paneling throughout.

The skylounge has ample seating, a bar and picture windows offering panoramic views. The upper aft deck has al fresco dining for 12 guests, while the sundeck is just the place for relaxation under the Mediterranean sun.

DEJA TOO has a comprehensive selection of watersports equipment including a 7.2m Castoldi limo jet tender and 7.2m Castoldi watersports tender, Yamaha jetskis, Jetsurf, flyboard, SeaBobs, waterskis, windsurfers, wakeboards, kayaks and snorkeling gear.

Her dedicated professional crew of 13 are renowned for their expertise and warm hospitality, leading to many repeat charter clients over the years.

ENDEAVOUR 2

ENDEAVOUR 2 is a 164ft (50m) tri-deck explorer yacht designed for long range cruising and ideal for charter for groups of up to 10 charter guests in absolute luxury. The exterior areas of the ENDEAVOUR 2 make various configuration possible, including an exclusive sun area forward over the wide garage.

ENDEAVOUR 2 features a saloon with sliding doors on the upper deck as well as an exclusive sun area and a cockpit furnished with sunbeds forward. There’s an outdoor dining area is located on the upper deck, while the main aft deck is equipped with comfortable seating and sunshade protection.

ENDEAVOUR 2 accommodates up to 10 guests in five staterooms. The yacht is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound and video system and guests can connect to this system with their own Apple smart devices.

She has a vast array of watertoys and tenders, including a 6m Sealegs amphibious tender, 4.9m Sportis S4900 RIB tender and 7m limousine tender, and a professional charter crew of eight to attend to guests’ every requirement.

CALYPSO

New to charter in 2019, CALYPSO is a unique, 118ft (36m) German-built superyacht with a custom-designed exterior and interior, featuring a striking wide beam and plumb bow. CALYPSO is ideal for up to 10 guests and available for charter in the Western Mediterranean, Riviera, Corsica and Sardinia.

Joined to the saloon by large glass doors, the shaded aft deck seating provides the ideal spot for cocktails or alfresco meal, overlooking the large beach club at the transom, decked out with lounges, bar and TV, as well as offering access to a garage of watertoys: 6.2m Williams Diesel Jet Tender, two 3-seater Yamaha Jetskis, motorized surfboard, SUPS, two Seabobs and diving gear.

The top sun deck boasts a seven-person jacuzzi, an array of sun pads and another spacious dining area with 360-degree views, protected from the breeze by a windscreen.

Accommodation comprises four luxurious guest staterooms. Two guest cabins are convertible to either twin or double cabins and feature an additional pullman bed each. The full-beam master stateroom on the main deck has private access to a seating area in the bow. In the ceiling, above the bed is a large window for views of the night sky.

An impressive saloon, dining room and bar area is located on the main deck, with floor to ceiling windows providing panoramic views and all the high-tech entertainment equipment guests could desire. The dining experience is enhanced by the cantilevered side balcony, which brings seascape panoramas right to the table. Interior styling could be described as “5-star beach house”, using light oaks with stainless and leather detailing, textured white fabrics and marine-blue accessories.

MIMI LA SARDINE

Winner of Boat International's 2019 Best Interior Design Awards for her 5-star beach house styling, MIMI LA SARDINE is a 111ft (33.85m) Italian-designed and built luxury explorer yacht spread across three decks and available for up to 12 charter guests. Her foredeck has a splendid sunbathing and social space, while the spectacular sundeck on MIMI LA SARDINE will enchant guests with its sunpads, undercover dining setting, bar and jacuzzi.

The main saloon is devoted to indoor/outdoor living while the upper sky lounge deck hosts a barbecue area and bar and formal dining area with a beautiful table taking centre stage. Despite her Located on the main forward deck is the master stateroom and on the lower deck are the four luxurious and spacious staterooms. The interior style creates a warm and truly relaxing ambience throughout the vessel, using natural, weathered woods, teak decks and crisp, white furnishings.

On board MIMI LA SARDINE boasts high-tech AV entertainment systems, a well-equipped gym and a full complement of the latest sea toys and tenders, easily launched from the extended transom beach club, and a crew of six charter professionals to cater to guests’ every whim.

LEMON NOT LIME

At 81ft (24.7m), LEMON NOT LIME is an elegant Princess 75 charter yacht with exceptional features and amenities for up to eight charter guests, available for charter in the Mediterranean and the Spanish Balearics. The deck layout of LEMON NOT LIME provides guests with a variety of options to entertain or relax including a walkthrough foredeck with U-shaped seating and sunbathing area, large aft deck and flybridge with undercover seating and sunpads.

Inside, the décor is light and airy, with large windows and a unique full-height window on the port side to make the free standing dining area a spectacular place to entertain. 

All three guest cabins aboard LEMON NOT LIME have their own ensuites, whilst the master stateroom is accessed by a staircase and private lobby area. The twin cabins feature convertible beds, that can turn into double beds for more flexibility.

LEMON NOT LIME is equipped with plenty of watertoys, including a Williams Jet 325 tender, Seabobs, SUPS, towable toys and snorkelling gear, plus three enthusiastic charter crew to ensure your charter vacation is memorable.

 SHARLOU (ex-SARISSA)

The 140ft (42.6m) luxury sailing yacht SHARLOU is a custom-built sloop by Dutch shipyard, Vitters and is laden with exquisite features to suit up to 10 charter guests in comfort and elegance, available for charter in the Mediterranean, Greece, Turkey and Spain.

The cockpit area features large dining table and seating, while the aft deck has sunpads and a plunge pool, which converts to an on-deck cinema with large projector screen.

Inside, the décor is warm and sophisticated. There’s a spacious split-level saloon with casual lounge on the upper level and lounge and dining areas on the lower level. For her charter guests’ entertainment, SHARLOU boasts high-tech AV system and Apple TV.

There are five staterooms, including one master suite with its own access to the aft deck, VIP double stateroom, two convertible double/twin cabins (one also with Pullman) and one single cabin. 

Watertoys and tenders include a Windy SR 52 Blackbird chase boat, scuba gear, Zodiac MK4 Semi-custom 555 Tender, Seabobs, SUPS, wakeboard, waterskis, towables, kayaks, fishing gear including deep sea fishing, and snorkelling gear.
