Luxury Charter Group operates globally and together the team has more than 40 years of luxury charter brokerage experience. Sharon Bahmer, Senior Charter Executive with Luxury Charter Group, managing the Americas, is now in her second year as President of CYBA. And for 2016 we are proud to announce that our colleague, Radek Gendek, our European Charter Executive, has been elected to the CYBA Board of Directors, further reinforcing Luxury Charter Group’s professional credentials.
Sharon Bahmer was previously on the CYBA Board of Directors and for two years contributed to the organisation as its Vice President. Prior to that, she was Education Chairperson for four years and played a significant role in creating the New Broker Online Seminar – the first and only international online course for charter brokers.
Sharon is also a member in good standing of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association.
Sharon says "Prior to acceptance each CYBA applicant must meet rigid membership requirements, including experience in the field, proper use of charter documents, ethical business practices, attendance at charter yacht shows to inspect yachts and meet the crews, and a review to ensure each broker takes care of the details every step of the way to assure clients of a satisfying vacation experience."
"CYBA accreditation is the assurance to our clients that we are peer and industry endorsed to offer advice on yachts and their crews, that we have inspected them personally and know their attributes."
Radek who is fluent in English, French and Polish, is a highly qualified charter professional whose insight and expertise ensures clients are matched with their ideal yacht and itinerary. Radek is also serving on the Education Committee of CYBA and is a personal member of MYBA, the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association.
Radek says "As a member organisation CYBA seeks to equip charter professionals with all the resources they need to keep pace with international charter trends, changing laws, taxation and regulations, so that our members are always informed and can provide the optimal service to their clients."
