Known as the thousand islands, Croatia is the ideal luxury yacht charter destination with lots of quaint seaside villages, historic towns, islands and harbours to explore at convenient intervals. Chartering the exceptional crewed luxury yacht LADY GITA, 162ft (49.26m), is the perfect way to explore this stunning area in privacy, comfort and style.
Croatia has become a popular destination for both super yacht owners and charterers. With a picturesque coastline, pristine islands, charming coastal villages and crystal clear waters Croatia offers a wide variety of itineraries for a luxury charter yacht vacation.
Whether it is relaxation or watersports, exploring ancient ruins or feasting on local delicacies, your luxury motor yacht or sailing yacht provides endless opportunities to enjoy this breathtaking region. With its secluded private anchorages and towns steeped in history while on your luxury charter yacht every photo you take will be postcard perfect!
Some of the major highlights of this fascinating area include the magnificent walled city of Dubrovnik, one of the most important historical and tourist centres in Croatia with its stunning Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains it is justifiably known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic".
Further north Split is the cultural and economic centre of Central Dalmatia with a warm Mediterranean temper. Split is steeped in history. Its fortress-like complex at its centre, Diocletian's Palace, was erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century and within its white stone walls and under its courtyards and galleries are shops, bars, cafes, cathedrals, hotels and several houses
While Trogir is a town-museum in the very meaning of the word. It is a charming Mediterranean seaside town attracting visitors from all over and inviting them to explore its historic walkways. It has conserved its unique historical core, the attractiveness of its boutiques, old-fashioned galleries and garden restaurants thrive whilst the daily life of locals living inside these historic walls carries on regardless.
In addition to these so well-known names there is an enviable coastline of charming islands and 'get-away' secluded anchorages. Vrboska is a real gem and one of our favourite little towns. Located at the head of a deep bay this lovely little village, nicknamed "Little Venice", has a canal running through it. With charming stone bridges, gorgeous canal-side stone houses and traditional lantinas moored in the harbour this place is a photographer's dream.
The Pakleni Islands, opposite Hvar Town are a gorgeous cluster of offshore islets that are among the best the Adriatic has to offer with crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches and deserted lagoons.
The Kornati Archipelago is made up of 140 islands most of which is declared a National Park – and with its natural beauty, numerous coves and crystal clear blue waters, it’s easy to see why. There are no permanent residents of the islands and most of the area belongs to the people of Murter Island who come to tend the olive groves, the vineyards and orchards. They have cottages there, in which they stay during the summer agricultural season. The Park is often mentioned as a "nautical paradise"; it is truly "slalom" sailing through the unforgettable islands, islets and reefs.
