Our Top Choices of the Luxury Yachts We Viewed at the 2022 Greek Charter Show

The main aim of our attendance at this charter show was to update our intelligence so we are best informed for our Clients and to match the right yachts to suit their needs. This means inspecting every yacht, checking for quality refits and updates, meeting the Crews and establishing the points of difference of each and every charter yacht.   

The Greek Charter Yacht Show is one of the largest charter shows in the world, and this year' it showcased close to 90 vessels along the waterfront of this picturesque town. All the luxury yachts on show are available for charter this season and range in size from 15m sailing catamarans to the most impressive 95m superyacht O’PARI. 

Many of the popular charter yachts have enjoyed thorough refits, and we were impressed with the standard of workmanship, array of watertoys and calibre of crew. We inspected 87 vessels and have graded each one, choosing our preferred operators and their specialties to match our Clients requirements.

The Chefs’ Competition and Tablescaping contest were an added bonus, and really demonstrated the full offering aboard each charter yacht.

Among the impressive luxury charter vessels on display at this year's Greek Charter Show, here is our selection of some of the most exceptional in their class.

GECO

Italian-built, GECO is 181ft (55.2m) of absolute luxury! Over three decks, with additional interior space dedicated to relaxation and socialising, GRECO is a fantastic choice for charter in the Greek Islands with accommodation for up to 12 guests in six sumptuous staterooms.

Her sleek profile is complemented by huge deck spaces, including a large sundeck with pool and gym set up, forward main deck with helipad that doubles as a recreational space with sun pads, sun lounges and fire pit. The versatile upper deck offers sweeping views, shaded alfresco dining, large sofa seating and easy access to the Buddha Bar.

The aft deck has a dining area, as well as sofas, a bar and sunpads overlooking the incredible beach club. The beach club has huge dimensions, with features including hidden ocean steps and space for a dining table for six for meals at the ocean’s edge.

GECO’S interiors are the pinnacle of luxury, with 5-star styling and a remarkable interplay of materials such leather, light woods, marble, hardwood floors and lavish soft furnishings and an impressive collection of modern art. All guest areas are connected by the striking main foyer with glass-walled staircase.

VERTIGO

Built by Golden yachts, VERTIGO is a 170ft (51.84m) luxury charter yacht that underwent a thorough refit in 2020 and provides seven comfortable cabins for up to 12 charter guests.

Sleek and spacious, VERTIGO has several deck spaces for charter guests to spread out and enjoy, including an undercover aft deck with lounges and seating, as well as a large retractable screen and projector for guests to enjoy movie nights, an upper deck with dining table and lounge seating, a foredeck with semi-circular seating and table and a fantastic sun deck, with bar, sun lounges and jacuzzi.

Inside, the décor is classic and elegant, with timber panelling, a neutral palette and collection of original artwork. The spacious saloon flows in from the aft deck and features two large sofas, plus a separate formal dining room. There’s also an upper saloon with lounge, entertainment system and bar.

VERTIGO’S garage houses plenty of the latest watertoys and there’s a 6.5m Williams Diesel Jet Tender for towing and day trips to shore. 11 crew are on hand to attend to guests’ requirements, including gourmet cuisine and every kind of activity during charter in the Greek Islands.

AFRICA I

154ft (47m) Italian-built AFRICA I is a sensational Benetti superyacht that enjoyed a refresh in 202 and is a popular choice with celebrities.

With expansive deck spaces including the covered aft deck, generously-sized swim platform, and sundeck with a gym, sun lounges and jacuzzi, AFRICA I is ideal for up to 12 guest, with six palatial staterooms including a full-beam master cabin on main deck with a private deck.

The main saloon features lounge seating and a formal dining table, while the upper lounge boasts a lounge, bar, desk and a huge cinema screen for screening movie nights. Décor is ultra-modern designer style, yet welcoming and family-friendly.

AFRICA I comes complete with a top selection of watertoys, including new Onda and Castoldi tenders, Seabobs, two Seadoos, electric surfboards, wakeboards, paddleboards and a giant inflatable slide to thrill children and adults. Her 12 crew are enthusiastic and highly-skilled to ensure every charter aboard AFRICA I is exceptional.

PATHOS

A stylish 131' Sunseeker, PATHOS stands out with her classic style and quality craftsmanship. PATHOS provides superb interiors and generous exterior spaces for al-fresco entertaining and relaxation for up to 12 guests in 6 lavish and spacious cabins.

PATHOS has generous exterior deck space for meals, relaxation, and fun in the sun. The aft deck is the ideal alfresco dining space, perfect for sunset meals and cocktails. The sun deck aboard PATHOS has a jacuzzi, sun lounges, bar area with large flatscreen TV, dining table and undercover section for protection from the Mediterranean sun. On the foredeck are sunpads for guests to take in sweeping views and sea air.

The main saloon comprises a lounge, dining area and the addition of hydraulic balconies that extend the interior space and the experience of the ocean beyond. 

Led by an experienced Greek Captain, the professional crew of nine aboard PATHOS are highly skilled and equipped to ensure guests have a superb charter experience in the Greek Islands.

CELIA

Ideal for exploring the wonders of the Greek Islands, CELIA is a 116ft (35.5m) luxury charter yacht from Italian yard, Falcon, with five cabins for up to 12 guests and a myriad of lifestyle features on board. CELIA underwent a refit in 2020 to upgrade AV equipment, wi-fi, furniture, blinds, linen, bedding, flooring and all bathrooms, plus new watertoys.

CELIA’S spacious foredeck has sunpads and seating for guests to enjoy the views and the sunshine while underway or at anchor. The aft deck is ideal for dining alfresco and the amazing sundeck has dining table, seating, sunlounges, grill and TV for guests to completely relax and enjoy their charter cruising the Greek Islands.

The interiors, by Luca Dini are warm and welcoming, with light-coloured timber panelling, large windows with shades, and the latest entertainment systems for guests’ enjoyment. There’s a saloon, separate dining space, and below deck, accommodation comprising five cabins, each with private ensuite.

Guests aboard CELIA can take advantage of her watertoys, including a 4.8m Novurania tender and an 8.6m Scorpion chase boat, jetskis, Seabob, Flyboard, SUPS, tubes and snorkelling gear. Seven professional charter crew complete the picture and ensure guests have their time of their lives during charter on CELIA.

PROJECT STEEL
 

34.00m (111' 7") PROJECT STEEL is a majestic motor yacht which underwent an extensive refit in 2013 and again in 2020, taking her to mint condition and the ideal charter yacht for families and groups of friends, PROJECT STEEL accommodates up to 12 guests in five comfortable stateroom.

In 2019 and 2020 her refit included a newly designed  modern vertical bow and  a 4m stern extension, as well as a full hull and superstructure repaint, all the exterior furniture and cushions were replaced, as were the teak decks. She is state-of-the-art in "as new condition". Her interior design and decor by Roberto Del Re is characterised by restrained elegance, neutral palette, beautiful cabinetry and soothing interplay of lighting in each space.

On deck, PROJECT STEEL'S flybridge is her main attraction for relaxation on charter, complete with jacuzzi, sunpads and alfresco dining space. The aft deck is ideal for alfresco meals and socialising, flowing into the open plan saloon that has areas for formal dining and a more casual lounge section. 

For on-water fun, PROJECT STEEL is equipped with a variety of watertoys for the active charter guests, such as a new 4.30m AB tender with 70hp outboard, Jetski, wakeboard, kneeboard, waterskis, tubes, kayaks, stand up paddleboard, snorkelling gear, fishing rods, floating mats and beach games.

ZEN

As chilled as her name suggests, ZEN is a splendid 87ft (26.8m) luxury charter yacht from Sanlorenzo, with all the amenities for up to nine guests to enjoy an idyllic charter in the Greek Islands.

Her low profile belies her spacious interiors, while her high-performance means guests can travel between anchorages at an exhilarating 24 knots. The large undercover aft deck has a dining set-up for guests to enjoy casual meals alfresco, while the foredeck sunpads are inviting for sunbathing and relaxing. The sundeck too is yet another space for guests to recline or dine in style.

Inside, ZEN is just as tranquil, with a blissful ambience, Asian-inspired décor comprising white leather lounges in the saloon and a formal dining space. Accommodation is located below deck, including two double cabins and two convertible cabins, each with ensuite, large closets, AV systems, high quality bed linen and gloss timber throughout. One of the twin cabins is equipped with an additional Pullman berth.

For watertoys, ZEN offers a 3.7m Zodiac tender, 3-seater jetski, Seascooter, kayak, SUP, wakeboard, tubes, waterskis, snorkelling equipment and fishing gear. The five crew aboard ZEN are renowned for their skills, including gourmet Chef and qualified watersports instructor.

GENNY

GENNY is 78ft (23.8m) Sunreef 80 with impeccable styling and myriad features for up to 10 charter guests in five lavish and luxurious suites. This sensational charter catamaran combines space and contemporary style. Complementing her elegant profile, GENNY offers charter guests unparalleled space onboard, including several lounge/leisure areas and large cabins below decks in her two massive hulls.

There’s an expansive bow terrace up front with cosy lounge, and large cockpit dining area in the rear, along with an extended swim platform for launching watertoys or reclining and enjoying relaxing hours soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine.

Inside, the living space radiates from a vast central lounge with panoramic views which opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit. All the deck and interior areas combined form a universal, open plan environment for guests to relax or entertain during their charter. As an indication, GENNY is able to host up to 50 guests onboard for quayside events!

This impressive luxury charter yacht has a brilliant 37ft Axopar cabin tender that has fully-enclosed cabin with air-conditioning that can be used for day trips, arriving in style to restaurants and exploring remote islands. There’s also a 12ft Sun Marine tender for other purposes, SeaDoo Spark Trixx jetski, Seabob, Seascooter, dive gear, inflatables, two SUPS, waterskis, kayak, mini sailboat, windsurfer and sea-rider donut for hours of on-water fun.

NAMASTE

Sailing yacht NAMASTE is the latest model 61ft (18.87m) Fountaine Pajot Samana 59 catamaran which offers charter guests incomparable space over two levels and luxurious amenities, suited to groups of up to eight guests in 4 well-appointed cabins. 

NAMASTE boasts the largest flybridge in her category, 30-square-metres of usable leisure space with seating, table, lounges, sunpads, bar and grill, plus hard top sun protection and full teak deck. The spacious aft deck is ideal for meals alfresco. In addition, there’s an expansive foredeck with sunken lounge seating, sunpads and trampolines for soaking up the sun while under sail or at anchor.
