Meet you at Cannes Yachting Festival 2015

Aside from its idyllic location, Cannes' major attraction is its selection of yacht launches and showcase of boats new to charter. The Festival attracts leading proponents from the international and luxury yachting sectors including boat builders and dealers, brokers, exhibitors of yacht equipment and services, owners, and buyers, totalling around 50,000 visitors over the six days.

Among this year's line-up of around 20 charter yachts are some of Luxury Charter Group's favourites:

PRINCESS K

This spectacular 40m Sunseeker boasts contemporary design throughout and versatile accommodation for 10 guests in five spacious staterooms, each with ensuite in cool for a luxurious spa-like ambience.

On the main deck, balconies to port and starboard and sliding doors bring the outside in so guests can enjoy the sea breezes in the comfort of the main saloon, complete with uninterrupted views.

The bridge deck is ideal for entertaining with a fantastic skylounge, cocktail bar and dining setting. The sundeck offers a stylish glass-panelled Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads, and two tables for up to 12 guests with plenty of shade. PRINCESS K is decked out with an abundance of tenders and toys to keep even the most energetic groups occupied and entertained during their Mediterranean charter.

EMOTION

Luxury motoryacht EMOTION from the CRN shipyard is a stunning 43m yacht ideally suited to Mediterranean charter. EMOTION's interior design is contemporary, light and elegant, for relaxing and entertaining in style. EMOTION offers three entertainment decks, complete with alfresco dining for 12 guests, lounge areas over all three decks and sunpads. Her expansive sundeck comes complete with Jacuzzi, bar and barbeque. The transom terrace conceals a fully-equipped gym that flows on to the generously-sized swim platform for easy access to the water and her range of tenders and toys.

QUARANTA

A multi award-winning power catamaran, QUARANTA is 34.1m (111ft) and hailed as the largest carbon hybrid superyacht catamaran for charter in the world. QUARANTA has four decks and a massive beam of 9m. On the main deck, her accommodation features six double staterooms with European king-size beds, each with an ensuite and huge picture windows to capture the passing panoramas.

The saloon, dining room, bridge and aft deck are on the deck above. The top deck offers a Jacuzzi, bar and additional dining area for 12 charter guests. On the aft saloon deck, there is an alfresco lounge area, connecting directly to the main saloon dining area. Forward, there is even more room dedicated to dining, sunbathing or socialising.

Unique to QUARANTA is her transom lifting platform which can be lowered to bring charter guests closer to water level for dining, lounging or access to the sea. This clever platform can become a "beach". The platform can lift the tender with guests in it from the water to the main deck level. Or when slightly submerged, it can be activated as a spa, complete with bubbles and waterfall!

M OCEAN

The 35m (114.83ft) Arcadia 115' motoryacht M OCEAN is a sophisticated charter yacht that will impress even the most discerning charter guest.
M OCEAN accommodates up to 12 guests in six staterooms, as well as up to eight highly professional crew. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

Her upper deck offers an intimate saloon/cinema area, with glass walls and ceilings. With her photovoltaic panels, M OCEAN is self-sufficient and generates her own environmentally-friendly electrical power.

M OCEAN'S high-tech leisure and entertainment facilities make her the ideal charter yacht for socialising and entertaining with family and friends.

The festival is split over two locations – 'Vieux Port' and 'Port Pierre Canto':

Vieux Port: Presents premières and new releases from international shipyards with in-water motor and sailing yachts from 10 to 50 metres. A Super Yacht Extension consisting of new walkways and barges is installed to accommodate the largest yachts. Smaller boats are displayed on shore along with exhibitors dedicated to design, equipment and services.

Port Pierre Canto: This location is a Brokerage and Charter space where you'll find international brokers will share their expertise as they present pre-owned yachts for sale or charter; half of them are 30 metres+ in length.

New in 2015:

RIB Village: Rigid Inflatable Boats vary in design and styling from practical yacht tenders to thoroughly luxurious day boats that serve double duty. A range of RIBS will be on show at the Festival's dedicated RIB Village.

Design & Services Area: Located in the Palais des Festivals, this area is dedicated to financial advisors, architects, designers, crew recruitment and consultants working with various manufacturers and buyers of boats and large yachts.

Festival SUP Night: This nocturnal event starts the evening of Friday 11 September. The race will loop around three buoys in a 100 kilometre course and competition is open to solo Stand UpPaddleboarders or teams with a maximum of four.
