Charter professionals, superyachts and their Captains and crews will gather for the 2017 MYBA Charter Show, 24 to 27 April – for the first time held in Barcelona, Spain, and the team from the Luxury Charter Group will also be there.
2017 marks the 29th edition and a new chapter in the history of one of the most important events for the global charter industry.
The event was previously held in Genoa for 15 years and prior to that, San Remo. Now in Barcelona, the event caters solely to MYBA Members and YACHTFOLIO Subscribers and is not open to the public.
The LCG team is looking forward to attending this revitalised show, inspecting some of Europe's most sought-after charter vessels, reacquainting ourselves with their unique attributes and renewing ties with their crews and managers.
Our objective, as at every show we attend throughout the year, is to refresh our knowledge from first-hand experience so we can pass this on to clients and match them with their ideal charter yacht experience – from the cuisine onboard to activities, crew specialties and the ambience of the yacht itself.
This year, our anticipation of the MYBA show is especially high given its new location at the highly-awarded, €80 million marina development, OneOcean Port Vell, with its state of the art facilities and infrastructure.
OneOcean Port Vell is a world-class home port for superyachts, perfectly positioned in the heart of Barcelona. Originally built for the 1992 Olympic Games, the marina recently completed its transformation to a 148-berth luxury facility, creating the ultimate destination for yachts up to 190-metres.
Luxury facilities ensure owners, guests, captains and crew have everything they need to enjoy the best in safety, security, comfort and entertainment while benefiting from all the services a city can offer. As one of only a handful of genuine city-centre marinas in the world, it offers the best of Barcelona and Catalunya on its doorstep, while the Mediterranean hotspots and islands are only a short cruise away.
We will be paying special attention to the following superyachts which are the crème of the crop when it comes to luxury charter vessels, and can be yours for your next sojourn at sea – the Mediterranean, Riviera, Balearics, Dalmatian Coast and a whole wide world of charter. We can help you customise your experience – the boat, the itinerary and destinations – and we and handle all the logistics making the entire process seamless from booking to boarding.
