100 yachts, 5 days at Antigua Charter Yacht Show
Spreading across Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, the Falmouth Harbour Marina and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina, the event showcases close to 100 of the current yachts available for charter in the Caribbean and also the Mediterranean. Luxury Charter Group will attend the Charter Show again this year – their ninth charter show for 2015 – intent on meeting Captains, crews and managers and inspecting the vessels ahead of the current season.
Director, Jeni Tidmarsh and the Luxury Charter Group Team, Radek Gendek from Europe and Sharon Bahmer from the US, have been invited to receptions, lunch and dinners with the Captains and crews of charter yachts in attendance. Their first-hand experience of the diverse array of yachts on offer, including the ambience aboard each yacht, the chef's cuisine style, its accommodation and amenities, the crew's expertise, the complement of water toys onboard, and knowing the main points of difference, mean they are better able to describe first-hand each yacht's discerning features and match clients with their ideal charter yacht.
"Every yacht is different, from its décor to the skills of its crew," explains Jeni. "Our professional edge relies on us keeping up to date with what each charter yacht offers and in fact which yachts we will and won't recommend our clients consider for particular reasons."
"But it's not just about the hardware. The Crew are crucial in the success of a charter. Meeting Captains and Crew throws good light on the skills and energy on board, their adaptability, their experience and their professionalism."
"Our commitment to our clients is evident in attending shows such as Antigua. This year we have already attended Shows at Genoa, Greece, Turkey, Cannes, Monaco, Ft Lauderdale, Miami and BVI. Of these, Antigua is the largest Show dedicated solely to charter yachts."
"Armed with our first-hand experience of every aspect of these yachts, we are best informed to match our clients with their ideal yacht and crew, assuring you of a stress-free and fabulous charter experience."
This year, some of the standout yachts on show include:
