Grenada is a mountainous and volcanic island, which gives it one of the loveliest landscapes in the Caribbean, featuring crater lakes, rainforests and coastal mangrove plantations nearby perfectly sandy beaches and sparkling blue waters with colorful coral reefs that are excellent snorkeling grounds.

AIRPORTS: The Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) is located 8 km south of the town of St. George's, on Pont Salines, the most SW point of Grenada.

CULTURAL: Local culture is the reflection of the island's history of English and French colonial rule, as well as African heritage. The Roman Catholic Church is also of great influence on the locals' lifestyle. Grenadians are warm and friendly. Dress code is informal but beachwear such be reserved to the beach. Smoking is not prohibited in public.
