She has crewed on charter yachts; delivered yachts across the world's oceans; been a sailmaker; worked on the development of marinas; been the advertising manager for a yachting magazine; owned her own yacht which she cruised, raced extensively, and competed in the intense cauldron of one-on-one match racing.
