Luxury Charter Yacht Highlights at the Nice ECPY Charter Show
Charter yacht professionals, including the Luxury Charter Group team had the opportunity to inspect a sample of superlative superyachts available for charter in the Mediterranean at the Open Days in Nice, hosted by the European Committee for Professional Yachting (ECPY), an organisation focused on stimulating the growth of the yachting industry.
The most recent of these superyacht Open Days was held in Nice, France, on April 18th and 19th. Luxury Charter Group team members Radek Gendek and Jeni Tidmarsh made best use of the two days to meet the Captains and crews, thoroughly inspect each vessel and really absorb the unique attributes and specialties of each.

Captain Steve Smith has been at the helm for 12 years. He is an avid surfer and diver and he and his crew bring an energy and enthusiasm to every charter aboard SILVER DREAM.
Designed by esteemed naval architect, Ed Dubois with interiors by the highly awarded Sam Sorgiovanni, SILVER DREAM was built in Australia by Warren Yachts and has been equipped to the highest standards. Sleek and streamlined, her black hull and silver superstructure ensure that she is a real headturner.
There is luxurious accommodation for up to 10 guests in five staterooms. The superb full-beam master suite is located forward on the main deck, featuring a study, lounge, dressing room and his and hers bath and ensuite. The four guest staterooms are located on the lower deck, each with ensuite.
Interiors feature the use of leather wall coverings, printed hides and exotic fabrics combined with metallic lacquers, clear satin on exotic veneers and Australian indigenous artwork which show the yacht’s pedigree. The saloon is spacious and ultra-modern, with a large lounge area, separate dining and wrap around windows for optimal views.
Other features include an onboard masseuse/spa therapist, well equipped gym, cinema in the skylounge, jacuzzi on the sun deck, and a large swim platform with access to an impressive array of the latest watertoys, such as two Sea-Doo Spark Rotax, Seabob, SUPS, kayaks, tow toys, snorkelling and fishing gear, and a 5.5m Castoldi jet tender.
Imposing and impressive, DYNAr is a very well-equipped 121ft (36.9m) luxury charter yacht and a brilliant example of the 121 Benetti Classic range, with accommodation and amenities for up to 12 guests in five lavish cabins – ideal for families or groups.
Charter guests will be spoilt for choice with all the options for entertaining, leisure and activities. The upper deck is perfect for entertaining, with dining table, seating, lounge, bar and cosy upper saloon, with high-tech AV system for family fun.
There’s a fantastic sundeck with jacuzzi, sunpads and lounges, alfresco dining and an outdoor cinema screen for movies under the stars.
For guests’ complete comfort, accommodation comprises a spacious master cabin, with private study, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with his and hers areas. A further four cabins are located on the lower deck, all with ensuites.
The 5-star interiors aboard DYNAr were designed by Zuretti and are pure Italian chic, with a laid-back warmth that invites relaxation in every room. Flowing in from the large aft deck, ideal for casual meals or relaxing, the saloon lounge and separate dining are blessed with massive full height windows for breathtaking views from all angles.
