The company was founded in 1875 by Friedrich Lürssen whose philosophy was "Leading in quality and performance, that should be my company's reputation".
With five building yards in north Germany, Lürssen Yachts has built some of the world's finest luxury yachts between 33 and 150 metres, and can claim to have produced the world's first motor yacht in 1886.
The shipyard comprises three distinct business fields: the building of naval vessels and special ships; the building of luxury superyachts; and Lurssen Logistic that concentrates on repair and maintenance, yacht management, spare part documentation, and crew training.

KISMET boasts accommodations for 12 guests in seven lavish staterooms, and sensational living-entertaining areas throughout. There's a piano in the lobby, ornate Art Deco staircase, video wall in the saloon and a theatre.

SOLANDGE's exterior design is the work of the celebrated Espen Oeino who created a luxury charter vessel with a vast selection of versatile outdoor living, dining, and entertainment areas. SOLANDGE'S panoramic upper deck plays host to a chic socialising area with a customised dance floor, Jacuzzi, and wet bar, while the bridge deck is ideal for relaxation and casual alfresco dining with a spacious seating area.
The stunning interior of SOLANDGE is the result of a collaboration between Rodriguez Interiors and Dolker&Voges, between them using more than 49 different marble and granite surfaces and 33 alternative timbers. There's a large indoor movie theatre, massive main saloon with bar, games room, and seating areas and original artwork throughout, including Murano glassworks which, Schonbeck chandeliers and the 50-foot illuminated sculpture in the atrium lobby which is the crowning achievement. Dubbed the 'tree of life', the column extends from the tank deck up to the upper deck and is composed of precisely 1,423 points of light.
SOLANDGE sleeps up to 12 guests in seven exceptional staterooms, including a panoramic master deck featuring 180-degree windows, private dressing room, his and hers bathrooms and a private deck with spa pool.
The 239.50ft (73m) luxury charter yacht TITANIA was built in 2006 by Lurssen and refitted in 2012, designed by Espen Oeino and with interiors by Zuretti based in Antibes and available for charter in the western Med.
Feature-filled and fun, TITANIA is available for charter in the Mediterranean. She boasts accommodation for 12 guests in seven staterooms, full spa facilities and gym with fitness instructor, large Jacuzzi with bar, Beach Club with sauna that converts into a night club, and an inflatable fun park.
The water-level swim platform offers easy access to the vast inventory of tenders and water toys, and the yacht is an accredited RYA training centre, with two qualified jetski instructors who can help charter guests achieve their licenses.
The 295.34ft (90.02m) luxury charter motor yacht PHOENIX 2 was built in 2010 by Lurssen and refitted in 2011. Designed by Andrew Winch, her styling is characterised by modern opulence, with accommodation for 12 charter guests in six staterooms in the Mediterranean.
On her bow is a giant sculpted phoenix figurehead, indicative of the luxurious interiors where no expense was spared to create a wonderland of Art Deco magnificence.
Interiors are inspired by New York in the 1930s, with a monochrome palette and sumptuous materials, including dark gloss timbers, metallic finishes, glass and mirrors and velvet furnishings.
An elevator connects all levels, running from the lower deck up to the bridge deck. On the sundeck, there's a 7.5 metre pool with swim jet, sun pads and outdoor cinema. Other features include a fully-equipped gymnasium, Hamman and beauty salon, a private Jacuzzi attached to the master cabin, 'Winter garden' dining area, theatre, impressive staircase and in the dining room, a grand piano and lavish wall frieze.
The oversize swim platform can be set up as an exterior "sea" lounge or Beach Club and guests can enjoy an impressive array of water toys including three tenders, dive equipment, Seabobs, jetskis waterslide and more.
Lavish and brilliantly equipped for charter, CAPRI I is an exceptional 192ft (58.6m) Lurssen superyacht with 5-star amenities and accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a full-beam master suite and VIP cabin on the main deck along with three doubles and a twin below deck, and available for charter based in Athens.
With five decks and an abundance of technical features, CAPRI I provides state-of-the-art luxury.
