Answers To Your Luxury Yacht Charter COVID Questions

As travel bans are lifting in some destinations, now is the perfect time to plan and book a luxury charter yacht vacation in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean for 2021. Perhaps the disruption caused by the Coronavirus has left you with a few questions. Here we give you some answers, and consider the benefits of choosing a private yacht charter for your vacation.

1. How Is My Health Protected On A Luxury Charter Yacht?
19th Hole

Onboard, your charter yacht is a controlled environment where it is easy to manage the number of guests and to socially distance away from crowds.  This means you can also reduce your risk by limiting your interactions to the “bubble” within your own family and friends. Your crew will be being monitored or Covid tested between charters, making chartering a superyacht one of the safest vacation options during these times.

You and your charter guests may also be requested to provide a Covid-free test result prior to embarkation, so your own social interactions in the weeks leading up to your holiday are also very important to consider.

Aquila

Cleanliness and hygiene have always been an essential part of life aboard in looking after charter guests. Yacht crews are required to practice even more stringent procedures these days to ensure a Covid-free environment on board.

Luxury Charter Group will provide you with an Addendum to your Charter Agreement which aims to protect your deposit in the event that Coronavirus affects your travel plans.  Every charter, and every occasion is different.  Your Addendum will protect the interests of both parties and give you the opportunity to reschedule your charter to a later date with total peace of mind.

We recommend that you start to talk to us as soon as possible. The earlier you act the more likely we can assist you to book the yacht that best fits your requirements in your dream location and for the dates you prefer. Many yachts from the 2020 season have already rescheduled charters for 2021, so effectively there may be fewer choices the later you leave your decision for 2021.

If you’re flying to your charter destination, it’s worth checking the benefits and costs of private aviation for group travel. Traveling by private jet has many advantages over commercial flights, and is the perfect complement to your luxury charter vacation. Not only are you travelling within your own private "bubble" away from crowds, the whole process is streamlined and efficient, so you can relax in safety and focus on unwinding and savouring the anticipation of your luxury charter vacation from the time you leave home.

In Europe, chartering closer to home where you can drive to embark your yacht in South of France, Italy and Croatia is a unique opportunity.
