Fact File for The Dodecanese
The Dodecanese Islands are located on the south eastern side of Greece, between the Cyclades and the coast of Turkey. They are unique for their medieval architecture and tranquil beaches. Although there are 150 islands in the group, only 26 are inhabited, and Rhodes and Kos are among the 12 biggest ones. Charters in the Dodecanese often include visits in the Turkish Riviera and vice versa.

RECOMMENDED BEACHES: The Dodecanese Islands are a great place to relax under the hot sun and while some beaches are totally remote, others are more organized and crowded. Some of the recommended beaches are Nas in Symi, Pedi in Symi, Kyra in Karpathos, Polemi in Kos, Ladiko in Rhodes.
CULTURAL: Greece is a country of great interest and diverse cultures influenced by its strategic location between the East and the West. Greeks are very proud of their history and rich cultural heritage and are strongly influenced by the Greek Orthodox Church. Dress is mostly casual and smoking is prohibited inside public transport and buildings.
