AIRPORTS: The Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) is located 8 km south of the town of St. George's, on Pont Salines, the most SW point of Grenada.

The Roman Catholic Church is also of great influence on the locals' lifestyle. Grenadians are warm and friendly. Dress code is informal but beachwear such be reserved to the beach. Smoking is not prohibited in public.
