Tahiti: secluded anchorages, warm turquoise waters
20-years ago I went to Tahiti to write a story on yacht charter. Sailing on those magical lagoons I was blown away by the colours and the idyllic anchorages we had all to ourselves. Driven by the urge to show others how they could easily experience this magical destination I resigned from my job, and established Sail Connections bareboat charters.
Since 1990 we have sailed Tahiti many times. We have organised hundreds of yacht charters in Tahiti and brought enjoyment for people from all over the world, mainly sailing the Leeward islands of Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora.
Over the years the yachts have grown larger and larger, and in 2009 we formed The Luxury Charter Group especially to look after our clients who desire luxury 5-star hotel service on the water
