Of its five archipelagos, each with its own character and charm, the Society Islands are the best known for Moorea and Bora Bora. Accommodating up to eight charter guests in luxury, COSMOS was recently refitted to keep pace with technology and the exigent expectation of guests from around the globe.
From the instant you step on board, COSMOS envelops you. Any charter boat can transport you, but COSMOS, led by Captain Eddie and his "can do" Crew, introduces you to explore far-flung reaches where nobody goes. Instead of passing a volcanic atoll, you can dive there if you so wish. You won't just observe passing whales, you can swim with them.
Inside, COSMOS is warm and capacious, with a full 7m beam from port to starboard. Accommodation for up to eight charter guests is in four staterooms; one master king, one twin that converts to a queen, and two twin staterooms, each with a double and a single bed.
And while she boasts state of the art entertainment system with 60" Plasma screen and over 1000 movies, charter guests are mostly attracted to COSMOS' generous flybridge, basking on a sun lounge, island spotting, enjoying a sunset cocktail, and dining under the stars.
COSMOS' garage contains all the gear for a diversity of water sports, from kayaking to waterskiing behind the 5.7m BRIG tender with 115hp engine. There are jetskis, knee and wake boards, as well as diving gear for exploring the pristine Tahitian waters.
This is the place that so enchanted and beguiled artist Paul Gaugin, the backdrop for so many classic films and easily the most picturesque cruising ground in the world.
